Earlier this week, I posted links about writing letters to elected representatives and Letters to the Editor. Today, I provide two links for ways that students can take action using letter writing. I previously posted on the importance of doing geography activities in school. Both of these options are an easy way for students to get involved. Notify Your Lawmakers about the need for Geographic Education! Here's an easy way to do a letter or email that has impact. Once you enter in your zip code you will see a list of congressional representatives for your area. My Wonderful World provides a template for your letter, but it is completely editable. Give it a try.
