So, what happens if you create videos from still photos of your geography projects, set them to snappy music and post for all to see? This video is created from photos taken of a playground map completed in 2005 (I am now teaching students who were at the elementary school when we painted this map...they STILL have fond memories). What if, to celebrate Geography Awareness Week, students created videos like these showing the extremes of the Americas? This video was made using Animoto's free online service. If you sign up for Animoto as an educator, the account is free and your videos can be longer than 30 seconds.
