What Happened to Innocent Until Proven Guilty?

At the end of this month, New Zealanders are schedule to face some tough new laws that are supposed to crack down on copyright infringement. The troublesome part about the laws though is that any suspicion of copyright infringement could, apparently, get your ISP to terminate your account. The website, Creative Freedom, is encouraging internet users the world over to stage a 'blackout' this week in protest.

New Zealand's new Copyright Law presumes 'Guilt Upon Accusation' and will Cut Off Internet Connections without a trial. Join the black out protest against it!
